Help in the Heath

Covid-19 Support

The impact of the pandemic continues to create difficulties for many people, especially the elderly or those vulnerable to illness.  It also impacts on people with financial difficulties or those just feeling scared or lonely.

The winter months can be a struggle to get through so we though you’d like to know that the Help in the Heath community service is still able to offer support, whether it’s help with shopping or just a friendly chat and some company.

It’s OK to ask for help

Helping others

There are lots of reasons why people don’t ask for help so please check on your neighbours, especially if you think they might need a bit of support.  If they are self-isolating or maybe you don’t know them too well, you can download and print a leaflet to pop through their door.

Contact any of our co-ordinators:

There’s lots of information about Covid-19 on the Internet and Social Media but it may not always be correct.   We have collated some useful links for you to check during these difficult times.  These range from official NHS and government websites to the online presence of charities that are on hand to help you wherever possible.
